My ferret seems to have a prolapsed or hemorrhoid anus, is there an at home treatment to cure this?

It started with some itching and then a cold about two weeks ago. So I segregated him a few days ago, from my 2 dogs and 4 cats, to help him overcome his cold. And then last night I pulled him out to join the family and run around when I noticed that his anus is protruding. I bought him 20 days ago from Petco and their guarantee is only for 15 days, so they obviously wont cover any of the vet bills. And I can not afford to take him to the vet right now. So if there is any at home treatment that could help cure this or at least keep him comfortable until I can afford to get him to a vet would be really appreciated?
