While traveling around Forks, WA, we saw a few acres of land that had been cleared and had the piles of sticks, etc, that weren’t worth hauling away. On each pile was a strip of back plastic, but the plastic didn’t cover more than maybe 10-20% of the pile. What is the purpose of this plastic?
