My boyfriend just had to have an emergency surgery to remove a very large external hemorrhoid this morning. He was given some strong pain medication but it isn’t working. Is there anything to help relieve the pain? Obviously sitting is very painful and he says laying down hurts also.
Other than that–what are some things I could put together for a care basket? I don’t know what to do for him. I feel helpless and I know he’s in a lot of pain.
